My name is Chanté Hendricks, and I am the person behind Unique Accounting. I grew up in a small Winelands town called Pniel, and for a long time I believed my future was in the medical field. Even then, accounting always came naturally to me, especially when others found it difficult. Looking back, the signs were always there.
After matriculating, my journey took an unexpected but meaningful turn into Financial Management, and that is where my passion for numbers, finance, and business truly began. I spent years learning, attending seminars and training sessions, and gaining practical experience within the accounting field. This time allowed me to build a strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and everyday business principles that small businesses rely on.
I am currently furthering my studies toward a BA in Business Accounting through CIMA Global, with the goal of qualifying in 2026. Continuing my education is important to me, as it allows me to offer accurate, compliant, and up-to-date accounting support while still keeping my approach personal and easy to understand.
What drives me most is helping small and medium businesses feel confident about their finances. I understand how overwhelming bookkeeping and admin can be when you are running your own business, and my goal is to make the numbers feel less intimidating and far more manageable.
